How do the business applications of digital technologies progress?
A project goes through four stages: Concept, Proof of Concept (PoC), Field Validation, and Field Implementation. One of the main differences from conventional system development is the inclusion of the PoC phase.

In the PoC phase, a mock-up of the machine learning model is designed to verify whether a new idea is technically feasible, the necessary data can be obtained, the accuracy is sufficient for practical use, the idea is cost-effective, and so on.
It is generally said that many projects tend to stall at the PoC phase; thus, we aim to increase the number of projects that progress through the PoC phase and move on to the Field Validation phase.
